I used a Peavey Deuce many years ago but for my taste it just didn't cut it for a steel. The I went to the 400. I think I have owned every steel amp they have made so far. I recently bought a Nashville 112. LOVE it.

I have a Heritage which is similar, it has 2 BWs in it, and loud, but have not used it out yet, my LTD (not counting my heavy Session 500) is the best sounding amp I have. I also have a Classic that I put a 15" BW in it, maybe the best sounding tube amp I own, and that's counting my Twin with A 15" BW in it as well.

My uncle, Andy Goertzen, uses one for his steel. He has a single 15' speaker in it. What a great sound he gets with that and his old MSA S-12.
