I'm experimenting with a profex for direct recording.Tried it out today and got some okay sounds but wonder in particular what's the best way to set the input/output levels.
I'm going into an M Box and have plenty of signal to work with but getting some faint backround noise.
I have all the Newman presets-any favorites?
I went right for the John Hughey setting(s)
but open for suggestions...
I'd also like to back up the settings-what's the deal with the Ram card.Is it a floppy or something specific to the profex?
Thanks in advance
Rich
