Is there a mod for the session 500? IF so, what is it, and what does it do?
Thanks for helping a dummy out!

Yes, there is a mod for the Session 500. I've got one but haven't put it in yet. I'm sure it makes the same changes to the 500 at to the Nashville 400's. I'm sure you will hear from Mike with the part number and etc. I think the cost was around $30 from my local Peavey dealer.

Thanks Erv. What changes does it make? Tone differences?

Mark, I just ordered 2 mod kits for the Nashville 400 amps, one for me and one for my brother. I called Mike Brown at Peavey and the kits were $30 each. It is my understanding they make a big difference in these amps. Dennis is going to install them in our amps since he has years of experience in reading schematics and sordering. If you have a problem call me or come over, since we only live 20 minutes apart. |

My Session 500 is on the way back from Peavey right now after having the mod done and a general back to factory spec job. (someone had done some soldering on it before I got it years ago) I can't wait! I'll let you know how it sounds next week. |
