Howdy,
The hum in my BR-9 is starting to get to me. I'd like to put in a replacement pick-up that both sounds good and fits into the existing slot without having to drill additional holes. Any suggestions?
Thanks a lot,
Ian |

Ian, I would check with Jerry Wallace. He can probably rewind yours and leave the stock appearance.

Jason Lollar is also terrific at this. I wouldn't replace it, I'd get it fixed. Jason or Jerry is the way to go. |

Jerry Wallace rewound a defective 1956 Gibson pickup for me.
He not only nailed the impedence, the workmanship was such that he restored the original appearance.
It is exactly like the originals.
I highly recommend Jerry.

Thanks everyone,
So, what would be the best way to go about this? Take the pick-up out and mail it to one of the guys you've mentioned, I suppose. How might I get in contact with, say, Jerry Wallace? Thanks again for the help, it's great to be back on the forum.
