Does anyone make a complete amplifier in a single rack size? I don't necessarily need effects..it's to make a keyboard or bass amp out of a speaker cabinet I have...but it's got to fit in a single rack size.

Hi Tony:
I assume you want a preamp/amp in one rack space? If so, I am not aware of any single rack space model. If there were, I would question the power output of such a unit.
However, you may want to call or drop into Guitar Center and check their bass amp section as they have quite a few rack components.

The Peavey DPC1400X is expensive, but will give you 1400 Watts in bridged mode!
Their CS200X delivers 220W in bridged mode.
Both are single rack space amps designed for PA use. |

Joey, I believe those are power amps. I need a preamp/power amp combo.
Also, it doesn't need to be that powerful...it's just for the music room. |
