110=10"
120=12"
130=15"
140=15" designed for bass guitar

D= alnico magnet, grey frame then orange/black

K= successor to the d series also alnico, black frame

E= successor to K series, (huge) ceramic magnet

F=designation for speakers specifically meant for musical instrument amplifiers. Actually stands for Fender, as they were on of the first amp makers to utilize them. The main innovation in the F series is a slightly larger coil gap, and a doped paper surround instead of cloth. However, this changed back to cloth when the D series went black/orange.

Most steelers like D130 or D130F.

Thanks for the info.

Currently I'm looking for speakers for my Super Reverb. (4x10's)

I'm not getting enough bass responce out of the P10r's. Thought about the C10's but then JBL & EV came to mind.

I also remember a e-mail from Dick Dale that said that the original JBL speakers fender used would FRAP out and he pushed Fender into having JBL redesign the speaker into the F series. So I'm guessing the F speaker is about the oldes I should go?
