My Standel Custom solid state lost most of its power in the non-reverb channel tonight. Can someone advise me what is likely to be the problem. I need help.
Thanks,
Jerry |

Does it have the potted/ encapsulated modules inside, if so, probably very little that can be done unless you salvage one from another amp. |

I thought you could still get those modules from Standel. Also, there are schematics out there that show what's in the colored modules, so they may be easy to create from scratch.

It seems like I had heard Woody Woodel was a guru on these amps and was possibly going to make the modules (got that several years ago from the new Standel owner). Jerry, you might check with Woody, I believe he is the right guy for this amp! [This message was edited by Ken Fox on 18 April 2004 at 09:27 AM.] |

There are schematics available that show what's in the modules. I think they're pretty simple. Check at Standel's site for the schematics. I think they're posted.

The Standel is on its way to Woody Woodel to be repaired. Thanks to all for the advise.
