| Are any of you guys using the effects loop on the Nashville 400 amp with Boss or any other stomp boxes. I would be very interested to read any comments regarding this set up. |

I use a "Boss DD-3"stompbox.
I place it beween the guitar and the Volume pedal. That way,you boost the signal to the V-pedal,(read this as a Pre-amp so we don't cut out the freq responce at low volumne)and also when we shut down the volumne,the effects dosen't keep on ringing through.

| I run out of the guitar right into the BOSS pedals, then into the volume pedal,and out to the amp. I have a RV-3, a Chorus Ensemble,Super Phaser,and a Envelope Filter. I also have a DD-3, but using the RV-3 with the amp reverb off. |

IN general modulations effects should go into effects loops. And dynamic effects go in line with the signal.
Modulations type effects: Chorus, flanger, phaser, delays and reverbs.
Dynamic: Preamps (distortions overdrives), Eq, compressors ect.

I run stompboxes in the loops on the P/V that I have. I like being able to footswitch different effects packages on and off, and I ESPECIALLY like the fact that I don't have to deal with crummy stompbox tone-sucking signal bypasses. Just shut the loop off, and you are running straight through...
So, each loop has its own set of mutually used effects, which you don't have to individually trip on and off... it does make for lots and lots of wires, though. |

| I go from the guitar to a Hilton Vol pedal to the NV-400 input. I then use a Boss DD-3 in the effects loop with two short 10" cables. You especailly need good quality cables in the effects loop or you will pick up noise. Also, the shorter the better. I just sit the DD-3 on top of the amp. |
