I'm not up on what's available, but I have a Scheerhorn that I would like to sample and play a guitar or steel with the sampled sound. Can this be done? How?

Thanks for the help.

It could be done but it would involve at least a hundred hours of complex work and a couple thousand dollars worth of gear and after all that it would sound like a cheezy keyboard.

Uh, why not just play the Scheerhorn? I would love to have one of those things, sheesh. Is the idea to be able to get the resonator tone but be able to play more complex chords? I could see that, I guess. Wait, I know. Find one of those Ped-a-bros!!

How about a Goodrich Super-Bro? It works for me.

Boy! This doesn't sound promising. The reason would be to get the good sound with the hard-to-make-on-dobro licks. I guess the Super-Bro is the way to go.
