I was just wondering how many Tubefex owners
use the Tubefex tuner.
I have the cents tuning numbers for the adjusted tuning I use, but it seems the built
in tuner will not stabalize enough to get a good reading.

I use this tuner. I notice that the 3rd string G# sometimes won't register very well for me. I have noticed a change in how well it picks up the signal depending on how you hook the Tfex to your guitar. If you run through the vol. pedal first look at the position of your pedal(up or down)that could affect the signal. After getting the E note tuned I like to try tuning by ear on some strings but keeping the other bandmembers quiet is another story! I like the Tfex tuner it has come in handy. Good luck.

Yes if you want a good tuning redline the pedal.
No so good mid-show unless you kill the amp, but for the pre-set tuning, this is SOP.

I've had a couple of players call me about the tuner in the Tubefex, which they stated that the third string is the most difficult to stablize or tune.

I have tried to tune my third string using the Tubefex and it is unstable as well. The only thing that I can attribute it to the unstable mechanics of an instrument where the strings are stretched and loosened so much.

A digital tuner is right on the money as they are programmed serially and cannot change.

I am not sure if any of you have version 2.0. It really helped stabilize the tuner in both the Tubefex and Transtubefex. Mike, are you using version 2.0?

I use the Tubefex tuner as well, but like Ken said, it has version 2.0 installed. I found that I like the tuner more with 2.0 than with any previous program versions that were available.
