I was in Nashville last week and stopped into Bobbe Seymour's Steel Guitar Nashville. I plugged my ZB into a Nashville 112 that he had set up with an RV-3. As some of you know I am not a fan of Peavey amplfiers, but I gotta tell you, I think the Nashville 112 is a fabulous 12" amplifier and definitely the best steel amp that Peavey has ever produced. Great bass response and good dynamic range. I like it better than the 1000, which I thought was a decent amp. I could see using two of these hooked together to play a large job. Mike Brown, I think the Nashville 112 is a winner. I will be purchasing one in the near future. |

Hi Kevin, I played in a 600 "seater" hall Sunday with my N-112 and it hung in there big time. Mic'd ino the board, our PA can blow the top off the Astrodome. We play at a decent volume on stage and put whatever volume is necessary thru the mains. This was a great country gig. Average age of the crowd was about 65. Got to play a lot of classic country. Loved it. Jody. |

I keep hearing great reports about this amp - I have always wondered how it would perform in a bigger dance halls - most of the time I see they have been miked - I could use my Peavey Rage 158 that way! How does it hold up to the volume and low notes against a nashville 400 without being miked?

Kevin,
Thank you very much for your post. The "112" has exceeded our expectations as far as its ability to be powerful enough to handle certain applications. The whole intention of designing this model was for rehearsal and low level applications. But on a daily basis, players are informing us of what they have used this amp for and it blows us away.
I think that the best references for this amp is from the various posts on the Forum. However, if you have questions, I can be reached toll free in North America at 1-877-732-8391.

Anyone tried other speakers in the NV112 like a JBL or Altec?
