The Furman unit wouldn't eliminate the buzz, since that's caused by AC getting somewhere it's not supposed to be. Power conditioners are useful in a studio environment, but they're really "overkill" for live work. They're meant to regulate the voltage, eliminate transients, and reduce spurious harmonics, none of which is causing your problem.
The buzz you hear could be nothing but a loose connection somewhere, or it could be a bad pot (if your pedal has one). Lastly, it could be a bad component in the pedal's power supply, or just poor design (most pedals aren't shielded very well). Check all the connections first (re-tighten the jacks in the pedal), and try another power supply if the one for your pedal is removable. If not, it's time to pay a visit to the repair shop or get another pedal! [This message was edited by Donny Hinson on 13 February 2004 at 05:34 PM.]
