what is a fair price for a session 500 w/ 18" peavey recently reconed.

i am speaking w/ a gentleman who has one for sale and want to know if i'm getting a good deal

If it's an 18 reconed I'd Want to here it first. If you don't like the 18 you'd have a heck of a time putting a 15 back in it.

Ball park if Nice, no pot noise..

400$

That's about tops for what I'd pay for one considering you can get Nashvilles for 300 in good shape.

300 would be an OK price for one in resonable shape IF you like the speaker.

200 if you don't.

If i am not mistaken, the Session 500 was available with an eighteen inch speaker.

You're right, Larry. At least I remember the ads saying that the amps were available with an 18" speaker. I wonder how many were actually produced that way.

I've never seen a Session 500 with an 18" BW, but am aware that they did exist. I don't know of anyone who owns one, although there has to be a few out there, but not many. Sorry.

I have an old Session 500 and sounds killer,at least to me.What is that you can buy for $300 and that sounds great ??? Session 500
