Are you guys placing it before the volume pedal or after.I just got mine. But it seems to sound better after the VP.Of course it may stink on the gig. But sounds good here at the house.

Also, ever used it in combination with Jeff Newmans Dobro ?? Profex program? Sounds killer especially on the low strings.

Bobby, I use mine after the volume pedal into a NV 1000 amp. It's very important to turn off any other effects (delays, reverb, etc.) while using the Super-Bro in order to get a good dobro sound. I use the dobro bar and for fun I purchased a 3/4" diameter dowel rod and made it the length of my regular bar...just to try. The wood seems to dampen the strings and gives it an even more dobro effect but you have to pick a little harder on some stuff. I mounted a switch into the Super-Bro box that will turn off any effects from the NV 1000 while using the Super-Bro. So I have to flip two switches when going to and from the Super-Bro.
