I have a couple of sets of the Peavey 115's.I love the way they sound but hate to carry them. They are heavy and take up a lot of space.Hey I'm spoiled I've played only house jobs for the last 20 years. My question is how do the Walkers compare sound wise to the Peavey 115's.Anyone have both?I'm going to have to start moving around and I'm spoiled to a stereo setup.Thanks..........bb |

I have a pair (with BWs) and they sound great, lots of low end for a small box. I have used the big Peavey's before (tweed classic 115s)and yes to me a bigger box has a bigger sound, but with my Walkers I use tilt back legs I attached to the backs of the cabinets, and I place them on the floor as close as I can so they are blasting at the back side of my head on either side, so with that cabinet position I don't really notice the difference, and I find that most other band members are telling me to turn up rather than turn down! |

Bobby, I have both and they both sound great.
On a small stage where I don't have a lot of room behind me I like the closed back because the back wall doesn't cause a problem when he speakers are backed up to it.
