Mike- I have a 3 or 4 year old 1000 that I am having a little trouble with... With the reverb set at 4 to 5, it begins to hum pretty loudly. Upon turning down it will subside, but returns again. Any suggestions? Thanks Randall

No problem with the spelling. I've been called worse!

The symptom that you described either sounds as if the reverb pan has loose springs. You might try relocating the pan within the boundaries of the bottom of the cabinet or apply pressure with your finger to the top of the pan until the feedback ceases, the put a 2"-3" piece of foam tape at that spot. Other than that, replace the pan.
