I have one of these amps and have install 15" Black Widow speaker. This amp seems to change tonal characteristics from one time to the next it will go from being very crisp in sound to very base like or mello the next itme I use it. I don't think it is the speaker as it did the same thing with the two twelves. Any suggestions or ideas as to what would be causing this.

Bob, the problem is impossible to pinpoint without benchtesting the amp. However, a good guess is that it might be a cold solder connection on the preamp board, that makes one or more of the equalizer pots intermittent. If you wish for our techs to repair, send it to;
