I'm thinking about a new Evans - can anyone tell me how much difference there is in the performance of the SE150 and the 200?

I have both thre SE-200 and SE-150. I use the SE-150 more than the Se-200 as it has a warmer tone at a lower volume and I play mostly small to mid size places.

I was going to sell the SE-200 but decided to hold onto it for the time being. It does have a vibe all it's own when playing a large venue.

You can't go wrong with either model. I am spliting hairs when I refer to the SE-150 having a warmer tone at a lower volume as this is subjective. However, the SE-150 is lighter to carry than the SE-200 and that is a consideration also.

I recently bought a new Evans SE200 w/ Fane spkr. I love the tone so much that I've ordered another one. I have not played an SE150 so I can't comment on it. I think the larger cabinet owes to better resonance though. MHO
