I tried connecting both of these amps through the two "out" jacks of my Hilton volume pedal and got a lot of hum. Is it ok to connect these amps in this way or is there some better connection scheme I should be following? When I connect one or the other there is no hum at all.

John, Jim is probably right and hopefully the problem will disappear. If it doesn't, call me toll free at 1-877-732-8391 and I'm sure that we can figure out what the problem is.
