I have an old, 1978 or so, Yamaha G-112 combo amp that has a problem. It just makes a loud pop-pop-pop-pop- sound when turned on. This happened suddenly, that is to say it worked fine at rehersal and an hour later it crapped out. I figure it's a capacitor that is charging and discharging over and over again.
The electronics are fairly basic and if I had a schematic I could probably puzzle it out.
The basic amp section was used in several versions of the Yamaha line up. I've seen a lot of the Bass amp heads. B-100 I think it was called. Also they made a similar G-212 combo. A diagram from any of these amps would be useful. Anyone able to help?

Thanks,
