I need your help. I live in an Rv and there is just enough room for me to set up my guitar and seat. I need to know if anyone has used a headphone amp and what is the best one to buy. has anyone ever used the Korg pandora in a box? need something that has good quality and an effects loops of some kind.

Again I vote for a Mackie 1202 mixer. You can plug your steel into it directly out of your amp and use the headphone out on the mixer. It also has inserts on the channels so you can loop any FX you own..

I have a Digitech GP300. It has great Digital effects built in, a Jam Along function that you can plug a CD or tape player into, and a Phrase Sampler for picking off licks. Head Phone Jack of course and more, all for about $200. I've used it a lot with no problems.

I have a Pandora PX 3 that I use all the time. I use it at home for practice and it works great. I plug have a CD player that I use and run it through the PX 3 and then I can play along with the CD's through the headphones.

A DigiTech RP-100 will do what you want for around $100.00. Jud [This message was edited by Justin B. French on 28 January 2003 at 05:30 PM.] |

I've used several different kinds of headphone setups (mostly involving pricey amps, boxes, etc..), but I bought a Samson S-Phone rack unit awhile back. Very clean and has 4-channels, a little eq on each channel and a variety of input/output options. I've only used it as a headphone amp/distribution app, but with the input options I think it would work well as a mini-mixer/rehearsal rig. |

For playing with headphones, the Line 6 Pod works fine, and has a number of built in effects. |
