How do these tubes (made in Holland) compare to the old American tubes? I'll be trying them out in my Fender amps. I'll be getting the 12AX7s and a 12AT7.

I just spent $100 on some Electro-Harmonics tubes that came in Ruby boxes and they sound horrible in my opinion.

Thanks, Dave Z

In my opinion those are the best tubes you can get. Where did you find them?

How much were they? Can you get more?

Danny, I'm not getting these from a dealer. A friend of mine in SF said he would trade some for a speaker that I have that he wants. He says they are in the boxes. I don't know how much he has. I'll find out for you when I see him.

Are the 12AX7s the same as the 12AX7As?

Dave
