Does anybody know who could repair my Goodrich photo-cell pedal? I've heard that Goodrich does not repair them anymore, and it's too deep for me to fix. Thanks.

Mark,
I've got one of those awhile back (broken) and all mine needed was a new light bulb and some tightened up (dressed and soldered) connections and it worked a dream. There's not alot going on (electronically) inside one of those. I can't remember my model number but I think mine says "Dual Photocell" on the bottom and is quite old, an early Goodrich product. The bulb is an oddball part and will probably have to be ordered thru some place like 'Light Bulb City'(thru someone whose got the big book of every bulb ever made).

When this pedal got up and running, it changed the sound of my Sho-Bud a little bit and made me feel I was almost playing a Emmons guitar. It's my backup pedal now and I use it on sessions when I want to point the steel toward that sound.

If you get stuck, let me know and I'll do some more research. What's the model number of your pedal? Yours has an AC cord coming out of it?

I would send it back to Goodrich. They will give you credit for it on a new foot pedal. I sent mine to them some time ago and they wouldn't return it because of the liability problem. Mine had an AC cord coming out of it and I guess some players maybe got zapped on a wet stage or something in the past and they really don't want the units out there. I thought it was a pretty good deal. The pedal sounded ok but I didn't like that extra cord to fool with.
