FOr Mike Brown. Mike, Why does my Profex have distortion when first turned on then clear up after being on a while? Does it have a voltage doubler in the pwr supply because I'm getting 45v on C1000. How much does a schematic for a Profex cost? Thanks. Doyle

Mike, I failed to mention that it was 45v ac I was getting on C1000.

Doyle,
Check the power supply that is used with your Profex II. It should be a 16volt AC. The voltage at C1000 should be around 12 volts. If the voltage measures differently, this could be what's causing the noise.

The schematic costs $2.50 including postage. You may contact me on our toll free consumer line at 1-877-732-8391 and I'll be glad to mail it out to you, or send it by e-mail.

Just a thought, if you get the upgrade kit you get a schematic included! Ask Mike about the kit, if you have not already done the Lemay mod. It's 4 or 5 (can't remember exactly) IC chips that you just unplug and plug in.
