Have a Peavey Profex 2 and the "Caution, System Battery Low" warning comes on. Any ideas what to do? Has anyone else had this problem? Is it a problem? |

Barbara, Its not a major problem but it will require replacing the internal battery..
It is soldered in..The case will have to be removed to get to solder joints..You can get the new battery from Peavey and have it replaced at a local electronics place or you can do it yourself if you have a talent for desoldering and resoldering..
Or you can send it in and let Peavey do it..
The batteries last about 5 years so you shouldnt have to replace it again for a while.

Thanks for the assistance Jerry.
Barbara, we can change out the battery for you here at the factory if you choose to send the unit to me. It will take about an hour to change. If you will contact me here at the factory, I can give you an approximate price for the part and labor.
I can be reached at 1-877-732-8391 from 8AM-5PM CST Monday through Friday.
