For those of you who attended the Jeff Newman portion of our "Questions and Answers" session at the recent Texas Steel Show, you might want to know his control settings on the new Peavey Transtube 112EFX amp that he was using. They were as follows;
CLEAN CHANNEL SELECTION;
Volume-9 o'clock
note; Voicing switch in VINTAGE position.
Low-10 or fully clockwise.
Mid-2 or 9 o'clock.
High-2 or 9 o'clock.
Reverb-one LED lit.
Delay-one LED lit.

I've been asked this question by attendees who have purchased this amp after hearing it at the show.

Here is a link to this model on our website; http://www.peavey.com/products/amps_mi/guitaramps/transtube112efx.cfm

If you have further questions about the amp, please let me know. I can be reached toll free in the U.S. at 1-877-732-8391. Outside the U.S. at (601)483-5365.

I've got mine ordered and can't wait to get it, probably in mid-May.
I heard Jeff Newman playing his Carter through this amp in Dallas. He was rehearsing his set and the fullness of the sounds was amazing. He was tweaking the settings, the last of which is included in Mike's post.
I would like to add that Mike Brown is truly a friend of steelers. He is readily available to discuss any amplification need.
