Hello,

I was wondering what effects units or stomp boxes you are using to get a detune effect?

Also, is this an effect that you would use all of the time, like reverb and delay or just occasionally for a specific situation?

Thank you

Most rack mounted multi-effect units have a pitch transposer of some type in them. They can be used to transpose anywhere from one cent to an octave or two.

I use a Digitech IPS 33B for a detune. I use a detune any time that I would normally use a chorus. I prefer a detune to a chorus because it does not vary in pitch (obviously) like a chorus does and seems to be a little more stable for tuning. I use the IPS 33 b for alot of great effects.
