went to a local music store to pay for a new bandit 112 to be delivered in a few days for $300 cash(or so the guy named Joe said over the phone). Joe wasnt there when i came down. Nuther guy(pushy) there said i outa buy a Randall instead.Same kind of amp basically. 80rms/12". To get to the point, i cant recall hearing much from steelers steelin thru Randalls. pushy salemanship aside, the amp did sound pretty impressive with a strat test. The lows, mids and highs parameters/response sounded very good strong and clean and such that they would serve well for steel too. No Bandits there to do an A/B test though. Im lazy and hate draging my steel to stores. How bout it...anyone played thru Randalls? |

Yes Steve,I played through a Randall RG300 for many trouble free years. I sold it because it was getting to heavy for me to carry around (age and health). Hope this helps you decide.

If anyone said "they're great", and then you weren't happy, you'd be blamin' them!
Try it before you buy it. Better to be tired from humpin' the steel for one day than unhappy for months or years cause you listened to someone else's opinion. |
