What tuning did Jerry Douglas used on "I Am A Man of Constant Sorrow"? The song seems to be in F, and he's playing in an open position.

I don't know offhand, but I would guess he might have tuned down a step to open F instead of open G.
Maybe if you asked on the Jerry Douglas web site, you'd get a better answer.
