A recent thread asked about playing through the PA. I borrowed this Crate amp from a friend and used it last weekend. It's a 30 watt unit marketed as an "acoustic guitar" amp (how's that for an oxymoron)..anyway, I alternate between playing steel and a Chet Atkins CAE electric nylon string, and this little guy sounded great on both. It's got two channels and a line out, so it can go right into the board (has headphone out jack as well). Very clean with good EQ. Even has rudimentary reverb and chorus. If you're looking for a practice amp that you can also use on low volume gigs, I recommend it highly.
