In this wonderful world of electronics, I imagine that someone has used individual pitch bending pedals to emulate the action of a pedal steel guitar. I was thinking the other day that it might be nice to have a guitar that could emulate a whole mess of copedants within a short period of time to let you know how one would work. I don't think for a minute that electronics could replicate the tone of a good pedal steel. It just might be useful for quick 'what if' testing.
I bet this has already been done, right?

I'm moving this to pedal steel. Although it's electronics, the pedal steel section is a better place for this subject.
