I found four Clarostat Pots, 500K/2Watt in one of my old boxes. The P/N is RV4NAVSD504A.
The last digit may be for Audio Taper but it doesn't look like one when I read it out with an ohmeter. Any help or links would be appreciated ! Regards Paul

This link shows what all the letters for the pot indicate. http://www.potentiometers.com/rv4ord.htm

Paul, That's not the same number as a new Goodrich packaged pot that I have. It's a Clarostat JA1N056S504AA. The "AA" indicates it's the special audio taper that is used for volume pedals.

Ken; Thanks for the link ! It's one I have to log in as good info. As I suspected, it's a linear taper and no good for a foot volume. Now I know why I still have four of them when audio tapers go for $20 or more.
Again, I appreciate your help. Regards, Paul

Jack; Looks like we logged in a minute apart so I missed you as I was submitting.
I can still use your number for getting the right one and I thank you for that.
Regards, Paul
