I didn't know where to post this really, as it would seem to apply to any of the players on the forum. Anyway,I came across this site recently and it's a treasure trove of information regarding amplifiers and electronics for guitarists. I didn't see anything specifically related to steelers, but it's entirely possible. There are numerous links here as well. Much of the info is very tech-oriented and over my head, but I found much of it interesting nonetheless. For folks looking for answers regarding amplification, tweaks and so on it's very good. Seem to be a lot of designers/builders here sharing information and experiences. Great forums.Lots of links to schematics for building various effects and amplifiers. Pretty interesting, to me anyway. Maybe everyone knows about it already, and I'm just posting old news http://www.ampage.org/

Another good amp info source is http://www.harmony-central.com/Guitar/Data/

They have other 'databases' as well. If you want to know what others think about your amp - go there.

cheers

Brad (our humble moderator) has a site, not Brad's Page of Steel-the other one, that has TONS of links listed to amp, gtr, and other music sites. I've gotten more info from this site (including the link to here) than any other I've found in 4 yrs. I'm too lazy to go get the address and post it. You can get to it from Page of Steel, I think.
