Hi Jeff,I know back in 1976,Cavin made a steel guitar amp with a 15" speaker. You might contact them and ask if they still have the specs on it.

Believe it or not but at one time Carvin made a pedal steel. I had one for a short period of time. It was a knock off of a Fender 1000 pretty much. That was about thirty years ago. I used to have a picture of me playing it with Carl Butler on stage with us. Carl & Pearl Butler were well known stars in those days and were fun to work with. If I ever run across the picture I will post it...

As I remember the early Carvin pedal steels had the same changer that the Wright Custom steels had and I figured that Chuck supplied them to Carvin and that was in the early 60s, Gary

I use a Carvin AG100D for non-pedal gigs. It's light (35lbs.), has 3 channels and lots of nice on-board effects. I run my Dobro into the guitar channel and steel into the bass channel. The bass channel works well with Upright Bass also. For the money, I think it's great.
