Can anyone give me directions to find live Hawaiian steel on Maui next week June 28th to July 3rd.

Look around for HENRY ALLEN, a super steel player as well as a fine jazz p/guitarist. He can be found usually at one of the leading hotels in Lahaina. IMHO he is the finest Mau'i has to offer and you should not miss hearing him. Perhaps if you e-mail Isaac Akuna: hsga@lava.net (Hawaiian Steel Guitar Association), he will give you some up-to-date info as to who is playing where in Mau'i.
