reprogramed ? Thanks,

It's internal battery may be dead.
A lot of Yamaha products of that vintage had lithium batteries that were supposed to last about 3 years, but in fact they can last 10, 12, 15 years before finally dying.
The last time I needed one they were still available and cost under $10. They are generally soldered in which is inconvenient but not too hard to do if you've soldered before.
I have a service manual on the RX15 and I know exactly where it is. But I'm likely to forget to look it up, so send me a reminder email.
As far as putting the patterns back into it, I don't belive that model will accept pattern loads through MIDI, so your alternatives are either loading them in from cassette (if you can find an RX15 data cassette - that might be tough if you don't have the one that came with it originally), or else typing them in by hand from the RX15 pattern book.
I used to do warranty service on Yamaha gear back in that era, and have a ton of old info stored away. I think there's probably a pattern book in there that you could have. Don't think I've got a data cassette though, but I can check. |

I knew a guitar player who said "I'm using a black drummer on all my gigs : RX-15." |
