are there any differences in tone loss/sound/ect. between the goodrich 120 and the ernie ball volume pedals besides the price? just curious

There shouldn't be any difference in passive (pot type) volume pedals, unless a different size pot is used. The Goodrich and almost all other steel guitar pedals use the 500K Clarostat pot. Most of the guitar volume pedals use a 250K pot, which does affect the sound, compared to a steel volume pedal.
However, if a standard Clarostat 500k volume pedal pot is installed in a guitar volume pedal it should sound the same. |

you're absolutely correct Jack,
I have two spare ZB pedals, one with a 250k & one with a 500k.
I switch around from time to time and it does give you a different tone.
On the Webbs , as with the Fender amps, I like the 250k tone best.
