I'll play a Emmons through a Peavey Nashville with the John LeMay modification. Now I can buy a used Mesa Boogie Studio Preamp. Is it worthwhile.
Any comments please

They're nice if you can find one. Mesa doesn't make them anymore.

I'm moving this to the Electronics forum.

Apparently the key with these is to use the output with the high end attenuated down (direct recording out??). I tried it with the standard output and it was painfully bright.
