I bought a Jazz Classic back in the middle 1980's. Someone told me it was "related" to the Nashville 400 - anyone know?

Rick, it is related although the eq circuit is a bit different and you need to remove several clipping diodes in order for it to be clean enough for steel. I've modified several and the owners were quite pleased with it as a steel amp. Go for it!
