Who still uses Goodrich type "match boxes"
with processor/power amp set ups?

I stopped using my Match Box when I started using my Stereo Steel rig. Partly because my rack case is right beside my steel (on legs and Velcroed to the leg, similar to Gene Fields rack cases) and I can adjust the tone easily, and partly because the Match Box would get in the way since it mounts to the same leg as the amp does now.

I used mine, all the time, until I upgraded to Lawrence 710 pickups. I have a MatchBro that has the matchbox type circuity when it's in the "Dobro" bypass mode. Many times I will just plug into the guitar direct if I'm not using the Matchbro as I get a better sound.

However, with the older Lawrence 705's the MatchBox was a plus.
