What are your favorite settings with this preamp/eq?I know it`s just one part of a sum of countless variables but it would still be interesting to know how other players use it.I use mine with a Rocktron Prophesy preamp/multieffect for DI recording.I bypass the internal (digital)preamp when playing PSG and use the PQ-3 as the only preamp and run it through the effects and speaker simulation of the Prophesy.I`ve been boosting the lows at around 100 hz,3dB,cutting the mids at400-700,3 dB and boosting the highs at2K,another 3dB.
Any different approaches?

Hi Ollie
I set my session 400 for the best tone I can get with the PQ-3 in bypass mode. Then set the PQ-3 .....
(Fq @ 50)
(bandwidth @ 9 o'clock)
(eq @ +12)
xxxxxxxxxxxx
(fq @ 800)
(bandwidth @ 10 o'clock)
(eq @ +4 or +5)
xxxxxxxxxxxx
(fq @ 1500)
(bandwidth @ full right)
(eq @ +1 to +3)
I'm always experimenting, but this is the present setting
