I just purchased a new CS 800 S power amp and find that in the stereo mode the A channel overpowers thr B channel completly. I bought this amp thinking I could control each channel seperately but it hasn't worked out that way. Any ideas?

I'm not Mike, but check to see if the "bridge mode" switch is set the wrong way.

Thanks for stepping in for me, Derrell.

I suggest that you swap the input signals to the amplifier to check if the lower signal levels follows the channel. If it does, it's the source that is causing the problem. If it doesn't, I suggest that you have an authorized Peavey service center technician check the amp out for you.

If the amp was in 'bridge' mode, channel B wouldn't work at all.

You may contact me at 1-877-732-8391 toll free here at the factory.
