I know they are scarce as hen's teeth out here, but Duane Wong of Music Works in El Cerrito has a third Session 2000 in stock-- he got the first, I got the second, and then another came along. They are not exactly flying off the assembly line, so you should jump on this if you are in the market. His phone number is (510) 232-1000. I am not selling this myself, only passing along the tip. Duane did not ask me to post this, so I don't know what the decorum would be about supporting the Forum with a small percentage of the sale price, but maybe the buyer could give the Forum a little something.

Let me clarify what I said concerning the Session 2000 amplifier. I said that it was a "limited" edition, but not a "discontinued". |

Mike could you please explain the difference between a discontinued edition and a limited edition. How does that difference effect us the steel players? When did Peavey decide to make the Session 2000 a "Limited Edition" was two and a half or three years ago when they first started pushing it, or was it in the past few weeks or months. I've always loved the Peavey equipment that I have, also I have always appreciated Peavey supporting the steel guitar consumer. I just really feel let down, Peavey has been pushing a product for quite sometime getting people excited with no mention of the product being a "limited edition". Sure you can go buy a limited edition amplifier, but who is going to support it? |
