After hearing so much about the Hilton vs. Goodrich volume pedal before the convention, did anyone get to compare these two?
If so..............????? |

Goodrich doesn't plan to have their pedal into production until October at which time I plan on buying one and give it the true A/B test. Their prototype was impressive looking though. |

I noticed two things......
The Goodrich has the power cord coming out the back of the pedal, The Hilton has it come out the side (I think I like that better)
Also, the Goodrich has a string or nylon cord turning something (not a pot, obviously) and the Hilton doesn't. Point being, it might break..??
Actually, even though I ordered a Hilton pedal, I really don't like the fact that they BOTH need that stupid power supply.
God help me if I forget to bring it to a gig! |

My favorite pedal, the Franklin stereo pedal , has no cords. |

Buy an extra power supply and put it in your car or truck for that time when you forget your other one or someone trips over it and breaks the cord. Keith has them. Take it from one who knows.

I think Goodrich was still the favorite on stage.

I don't know guys. Kieth sold a lot of pedals this weekend. Herby wallace was playing one. Doug Jernigan bought one and used it at the convention. |

A lot of people have not yet tried a Hilton Pedal, but I have and it's great for me on a Derby steel or my push-pull Emmons. The Goodrich pedal does not have a pre-amp in it ,but the Hilton has. Keith is very good about giving you service if you have a problem too. Just a satisfied coustomer |
