I've recently bought a Pod2, and although it's great for overdriven guitar sounds (and convenience!), I'm still struggling to get the perfect clean Steel tone, or clean country or jazz guitar sound. My amp (Music Man) has something - prescence? transparency? - that the Pod's not giving me. A guy on the Internet (tubeamp.homepage.com)is advertising a PodMod which he claims restores some vital information that the guys at Line 6 have missed. It's another plug-in box, so doesn't interfere with the Pod (or the warranty!). Anybody had the chance to check this out? He's got some sound samples, but I'm not able to listen to them...

The Pod Mod samples I listened to don't send me. I find the concept dubious and don't think it will help you in your quest. Maybe a good EQ will be a better option.
