Can anyone please tell me what that old Boss effect is that Jr. has sitting on top of one of his Twin Rev. amps????? I asked a stage hand one night after a show and all he said was. " It's a Preamp." Guitar player Mag. interview says it's a reverb unit. I'd like to know the Model of it so I can Search Ebay,ect.. for one .
THANKS
JEFF

Thanks to Bob Knight for the answer. Bob says it is a VF-1 preamp/multi effects unit.
I'll get one one day I suppose .

I got to see Jr. Brown a couple of weeks ago in Houston in a small club called the Mucky Duck. Wow, what a talent! I was surprised how much steel he plays in his show. He even did a couple of Hawaiian tunes. He does little talking between numbers; just keeps them coming. Also, I was watching him use the flat pick with two finger picks on his middle and ring finger and then I tried it! My fingers with not move in the opposing direction required to pick this way. What a unique talent.

VF-1

I think it looks cool. You could get a mike off of an old CB, hook it up, and fake it like you were changing patches by talking to it. "Computer! A little more reverb!"
