Even though Gruhn's Guide to Vintage Guitars lists this model in their list of Dobro guitars, I have never seen one of these, nor of any of the other models which Gibson planned on bringing out in 1996. The only references I've ever seen to these guitars are on Gibson's own web site.

I've seen that picture too. I sent an email to Gibson with the picture attached, inquiring about availablity, etc. No response.
Nothing like customer service, huh? I got the same kind of response from Danelectro for a technical question...NONE. |

In 1985 Dobro offered a lap steel in 6,8,10 string, and it had a milk bottle shape. I wonder if any one got to buy one of those before they were canned. |

I have a paper from Dobro back then with a picture of the lap steels offered.I never saw one in person.They look nice. |
