Well since my post has been pulled about being ripped off, I still need someone who can fix the notoreus Midiverb II. I need a very inexpensive repair. Not sure is the problem is inexpensive but I allready have a gajillion dollars in this unit.

When I plug it in and turn it on the unit has a terible hum, like pink noise.

Any takers?

Joe: You might consider calling Alesis itself. They are here in the LA area and I think information can give you the number. I called and talked to a tech guy some years back and he ended up sending me a free power supply for the midiverb. At that time that department was friendly and hopefully still are. Give it a try. They may be able to point you to a solution.
