Hi,
Has anyone played the Asher Ben Harper model lap steel? It has a 25" scale,two p/us,solid body with sound chambers,koa top etc.The specs are really interesting....

That sounds great what you said. I would love to see a picture of that steel and the specs you are talking about.
Do ya have a shot of it or know where there is one online I can look at?

Dan Tyack brought his Asher-Ben Harper to Florida and I heard him and some of the guys play it. Oh man the sound is out of this world- beautiful archtop acoustic sound. It was a nice looking instrument but the looks didn't prepare me for the quality of the tone that came from it. It impressed the heck out of me. |

I haven't played one myself, but Greg Leisz sounds fantastic when he plays his.
