Newbie on LapSteel help?

Hello friends,

I just picked up a new lapsteel (chandler rh-2 mahogony) great tone!!

Anyhow I had a tuning question for you.

can I do this?

Tune to an open D --- D A D F# A D

then put a capo on the second frett to get

open E --- E B E G# B E

If I can: Does anyone know where I can get a capo that would work on a lapsteel

I just noticed that someone has a dobro capo on "Buy & Sell" -- I suppose that might work if the neck widths are similar.

I have a Chandler birdseye maple lap steel. The capo I use for it and my dobro style guitar is a Beard capo. This link will take you to it and several other choices as well.
